Before his studies, Daniel already realised that the sound engineering adds an important creative and thus also compositional contribution to the music.  In the course of his studies, he spent a lot of time in various recording and mixing studios in and outside the Bern University of the Arts and thereby learned the necessary craft. In the meantime, Daniel works as a self-employed sound engineer as well as a freelancer for Idee & Klang.

Over the past few years Daniel had the opportunity to work with great artists, composers and musicians such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jean-Paul Brodbeck, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Niki Reiser, Delirium Ensemble, Michael Künstle or Matteo Pagamici. During this time his sound quality and the attention to detail raised to a very high standard.
